Student life at Notre Dame Education Center is incredibly supportive. Our teachers develop caring relationships with our students. The Education and Career Advisors help students to plan their careers and achieve their employment goals. Our student experience is enriched by leadership and volunteer opportunities, and other exciting activities.
School Enrichment Activities for Our Students
Student Support Center
The Student Support Center (SSC) is staffed by volunteers, tutors, students, and advisors. The SSC provides our students the opportunity to practice computer skills, vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar in a fun, comfortable, relaxed environment. All students of our center can take advantage of this additional study support.
NDEC Student Ambassadors
The NDEC-L Student Ambassador Program helps students to develop their leadership skills by being involved with the operations and activities of our school. Student Ambassadors are offered many opportunities to explore their potential for leadership and service.
Student Ambassadors provide tutoring and help other classmates with the technological tools used in the teaching-learning process. They provide feedback to the NDEC-L director, teachers, and advisors on the classroom and program experience. As Notre Dame Education Center representatives, they help spread information about NDEC-L services and events to others students and the community. They also participate in event planning, new student orientations, and fundraising. In addition, they offer volunteer service to our Center by performing various office tasks.

goals, and connect them with available resources to support their career paths.
Technology Coaching
NDEC-L staff and Student Ambassadors provide
technology training and coaching to support students and teachers to utilize
technology tools such as Zoom and Google Suite in the classroom.

Studying at NDEC was the best experience somebody could have in their first 2 months in a strange country. I made some friends, the education is very good, the professors are very dedicated and the attention they had for me, not only in the education, but also in the personal was incredible. I always will say that Notre Dame is more than a school it is a place where you can find emotional support, financial support and more. After graduating the Nurse Aide Program I was working as a nursing assistant in the ICU of Lawrence General Hospital. I have since decided to improve my knowledge have enrolled at Northern Essex Community College to study Respiratory Care.
